Booking Conditions

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

To make a reservation effective, 50% of the total stay must be paid (this percentage may vary depending on the season of the year; for last minute reservations, the total reservation must be paid) by credit card or via bank transfer. All costs derived from the bank transfer will be paid by the client.

 

At Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva, the minimum age is 25 years old, except for those under 25 who come as a family or on a business trip. It is not allowed to host groups that come for bachelor parties or to watch a European football game.

 

The reservation will not be confirmed until the staff of Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva confirms it via email.

 

The remaining 50% must be paid later. For more details, see the “How to Book” section.

 

For reservations of more than two weeks, 50% of the total cost of the reservation may be required, please check it first.

 

In case you want an invoice, you must communicate it as soon as you make the reservation, sending us at the same time all the billing data (company name, address, VAT, etc.). We are not allowed to invoice companies that do not have a European tax number.

 

After your departure and after having verified that you left the apartment in good condition, we will unblock the amount corresponding to the deposit on your credit card. If you had paid in cash, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva will transfer the amount to your bank account.

 

A few weeks before your arrival in Florence, we will contact you by sending you an email to remind you of the procedures to follow and confirming your personal information (flight number, arrival time, passport, date of birth and contact mobile phone).

 

It is expressly forbidden that there are more guests in the apartment than those indicated in the reservation (except children under 2 years of age).

 

Children under 2 years old do not have to pay.

Cancellations

In case of cancellation of the reservation, the cancellation policy to be applied will always be the one associated with the selected rate. In case of long stay reservations (more than 14 days) the cancellation policy of Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva is as follows:

 

  • If you make the cancellation between 60 and 89 days before the arrival day, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva will refund 70% of the prepayment.
  • If you make the cancellation between 30 and 59 days before the arrival day, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva will refund 50% of the prepayment.
  • If you make the cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival day, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva does not make any refund of the prepayment.
  • For cancellations made once the client is already in the apartment, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva can retain 100% of the apartment’s rent if it considers it so.
  • If you make a change of dates or apartment, it will be considered as a new reservation and will be subject to the previous cancellation conditions.

 

For the reasons mentioned above, we recommend taking out travel insurance with coverage in case of cancellation.

Modify a reservation

To modify a reservation, you must contact us via e-mail or telephone or use the “Guest Portal” (Check-in Online) section on our website.

Cleaning

The cleaning will be done just after the client’s departure. For reservations of more than 7 nights, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva will carry out a free extra full cleaning approximately in the middle of the stay. For shorter stays, reviews are carried out if the company deems it appropriate.

During the stay

We can offer you: transfer service, laundry, business office, luggage storage, catering service, parking, concierge service (on request and/or availability).

 

In addition to these services, we work with several recognized companies in the sector, which offer endless services.

Standards of conduct

You will have an on-call phone from Monday to Sunday so that you can contact the staff of Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva in case of having any incident related to the apartment outside of office hours, as well as an email address where we will answer all your doubts and questions during the week.

 

Remember that we can also offer you a wide variety of extras (baby seat, baby crib, parking, ticket sales) and suggestions to make your stay unique (restaurants, events, etc.).

 

There are rules of conduct and behavior that you and all the people who accompany you must respect:

General rules

  • Smoking is prohibited in the apartment or in common areas (except in the courtyard).
  • It is not allowed to have more occupants in the apartment than those indicated in the reservation. If there is someone else in the apartment, it is necessary to inform Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva and send the corresponding identity document to the staff. Exceeding the capacity of the apartment or accommodating unnotified occupants will result in the cancellation of the reservation without the right to a refund.
  • For your own safety, lock the door each time you leave the apartment.
  • It is forbidden to make noise and disturb the public peace, especially from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Parties are not allowed at any time.
  • The lights and the air conditioning/heating must be turned off every time you leave the apartment.
  • In case of loss of a key or theft, must be notified as soon as possible to Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva. The penalty for losing a key is € 50.00.
  • In case the key is forgotten inside the apartment, you can call our customer service phone number. We will manage the opening of the apartment remotely or by sending a member of our staff. The price of the service will be € 50.00 and will be charged to your account.
  • Towels are strictly for the bathroom. They should not be used as cleaning cloths.
  • It is forbidden to throw anything on the street or in the courtyard.

Check-out rules

  • On the day of your departure, you must leave the apartment within 10 am.
  • The apartment must be in good condition.
  • We would appreciate it if you remove the garbage and deposit it in the containers on the street.
  • Before leaving, please leave the keys on the table in the living-dining room (if when you arrived, you picked up the apartment keys elsewhere, you do not have to return them there: please leave them in the apartment). Make sure the windows are properly closed, and when you leave, slam the front door.
  • After your departure and after checking that you left the apartment in good condition, we will unblock the amount of the deposit from your credit card. If you have paid the deposit in cash, Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva will transfer the amount to your bank account.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

After confirming your reservation, a few weeks before your arrival in Florence, we will send you an email with all the information you need to collect the keys and your entrance to the apartment.

Arrivals

In the days prior to your arrival in Florence, we will send you an e-mail with the necessary instructions for your entry to the apartment. Key collection can be done in the same apartment building, we remind you that we have an intelligent and digitized system to collect the keys, making check-in much faster and more agile.

 

Please remember that the apartment will be available from 3pm onwards. If you arrive in Florence before 3:00pm, if you wish, you can leave your luggage in our offices.

 

In the case of having chosen the “payment upon arrival” method, we will send you an e-mail with the necessary details to come and pay at our office.

 

If there is a problem during your stay, a damage occurs or something breaks by accident, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the incident as quickly as possible. Our goal is to ensure the greatest comfort and satisfaction of our customers.

 

If you want the staff of Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva to go to the apartment to check-in or to collect the remaining amount of the stay, please note that:

  • Requests for face-to-face check-in outside office hours will have an extra cost of € 40 (from 19:00 to 22:00).
  • Requests for face-to-face check-in during office hours will be free (from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00).

Departures

It is very important that you remember that the departure (“check-out”) of the apartment must always be within 10:00am. In case you want a departure later than this time, you should contact us as soon as possible to see if we can accommodate your request.

 

If possible, you should remember that there is an additional cost for departures after 10:00am:

  • Departures from 10am to 1pm: € 40
  • Departures from 1pm to 8pm: € 80
  • Departures after 8pm, will be charged as if it were an extra day.

 

If you need a place to leave your luggage after your departure from the apartment, you can contact us and drop it off at our office.

Responsibility

Irene SAS di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva nor the owners of the apartments, are not responsible for damages or losses caused during your stay in the apartment such as theft, damage or loss after fires.

 

For your greater security, most of the apartments have a magnetic key system that does not allow access to the house with keys given to previous customers or with lost keys.

 

In the case of non-compliance with any of the aforementioned obligations, such as incorrect behavior, complaints from neighbors about constant noise or, in the case that the police have had to be resorted to for any reason, Irene Sas di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva is fully authorized to ask clients to vacate the apartment immediately, without said clients having any right to any type of financial compensation and being able to lose part or all of the deposit.

 

Irene Sas di Alain Mariano Moreno Pedralva appreciates your collaboration and understanding, hoping that you understand that each and every one of the aforementioned points is necessary in order to preserve the well-being of the entire community and especially the rest of the neighbors since all the apartments are located in residential buildings.
